The Federal College of Forestry Admin Department came to life immediately the College was established in the Year 1939, the Administrative routine of the college for the progress and to achieve the stated Objective goals of the Institution, i.e. to produce Men and Women with necessary scientific knowledge in Forestry, Agriculture, Wood Science and other allied related disciplines for the management of sustainable environment.
Objectives and Goals of Administration Department
The College Administration is saddled with keeping of Staff and student’s records for record purposes and future references.
The College Administrative Department have different Divisions that Makeups up the whole Admin body but the two crucial divisions in the department are College Registry and Records for both staff and student’s matters.
College Registry is mainly responsible for handling letters technically called “Mails” and The Records Division is Responsible for keeping personnel Records and producing records of service members of Staff and Students whenever the needs arise.

Registrar/HOD Admin
The Registrar is the Head of Administration Department. The Registrar is in charge of the Routine of the Administrative Duties of the College.
The Registrar is the College Secretary i.e all the statutory and ad-hoc committee meetings.
General Administration, including assisting in the formulation and execution of policies in order to enhance the efficiency of all Arms of the College.
Organization and Management of the Administration Department.
General personnel matters as they relate to all College staffs and students.
Implementation of Government Circulars and directives.
Appraisal of APER forms of Senior Staffs in the Administration department.
Trade Union matters.
Staff deployment and discipline matters.
The Registrar keeps the Provost abreast of all day-day Administrative activities/works for the progress of the College.
