AKALUMHE, Caroline Dada (Mrs) is a Director and the College Librarian.

A seasoned Teacher and Administrator. She obtained her Master of Library Science (MLS) from the University of Ibadan in 1991, and her B.A (Ed) English, from the University of Ife (Now Obafemi Awolowo University), IIe-lfe in 1984. She attended St. Terasa's College Ibadan where she obtained her West African Certificate (WAEC) in 1979.

She had participated in numerous workshops and conferences across Nigeria. She also has to her credit many publications of journals and proceedings both local and international.

Mrs. Akalumhe has worked at various levels and capacities; she was a Teacher/Librarian at Government Secondary School, Bwari-Abuja in 1984, Librarian with Teaching duties, Federal College of Forestry, Jos, 1991-2005 and Assistant Director (Information & Documentation) Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria, Ibadan 2008-2014. She is currently a member of the Caretaker Committee of the CT&CS FRIN Ibadan, Head of Department Library and Documentation, Federal College of Forestry Ibadan, Member Academic Board Federal College of Forestry Ibadan and a certified and Registered Librarian with the Librarians, Registration Council of Nigeria 2011.

She is a recipient of many awards such as; African Icon of our Generation Award of International Institute of Comparative leadership for Africans and Blacks in Diaspora, Best African Performer Merit Award (BAPMA 2009) and Certificate of Award in appreciation of her contributions to Research and Infrastructural Development in the Institute by Senior Staff Association FRIN 2010.
